First year International Director, Viki Kinsman and Jim Heeren, Region Advisor for the year 2011-2012 welcome you to the Region 7 portal. We are honored to serve the members of Toastmasters International Region 7. Viki and I are enthusiastic Toastmasters and will help you any way we can.
The goal for this website is to serve as a crossroads to other Districts within the Region. Over time this website will grow and serve as a portal to useful information to assist you in leading your districts, improving district educational programs and provide information to help extend the network of clubs and retain the network of clubs in your districts. The website will contain educational materials prepared by Toastmaster leaders around the Region and we will be building a video library of helpful tips in building and rebuilding clubs, increasing attendance at Officer training and district conferences.
The site will include a blog that will encourage discussion about topics and challenges that districts face throughout the year.
Our vision for this website is that it will help develop a sense of community in our Region. In time the website will be a place where District leaders can find answers and ideas and a place where past International and District leaders can share their experiences.
